Luigi Davoli is a respected fire service executive, leadership consultant, keynote speaker, and author with nearly three decades of experience in fire and emergency services. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for principled leadership, operational excellence, and developing leaders who earn trust through competence, character, and sound decision-making.

Luigi served for 26 years with Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services, progressing through every operational rank from Firefighter to Platoon Chief. His leadership experience spans frontline emergency response, strategic incident command, organizational policy development, officer development, labour relations, recruitment, and executive decision-making. He has led emergency operations at significant incidents, managed complex personnel matters, contributed to strategic planning initiatives, and conducted post-incident reviews to strengthen organizational learning and operational performance.

As Founder and Principal Consultant of Frontline Leadership Consulting, Luigi works with fire and emergency services and other organizations across Canada and the United States to develop stronger leaders and healthier organizational cultures. His consulting practice focuses on leadership development, ethical decision-making, command presence, organizational culture, incident command, emergency protocol and policy review, post-incident analysis, and executive leadership coaching. His presentations combine operational credibility with contemporary leadership research, providing practical strategies that resonate with leaders at every rank.

Luigi holds a Master of Public Safety from Wilfrid Laurier University, an Advanced Certificate in Fire Service Administration and a Certificate in Fire Service Leadership from Dalhousie University. He is certified as Fire Officer IV under NFPA 1021. His commitment to lifelong learning reflects his belief that great leadership is never static—it is continually refined through education, experience, and reflection.

An accomplished writer and thought leader, Luigi is a regular contributor to FireRescue1, and Firefighting in Canada, where his work explores leadership, ethics, organizational culture, trust, decision-making, and the human side of command. His writing has established him as a respected voice on the challenges and responsibilities of leadership in today's fire service.

Beyond his professional work, Luigi remains deeply committed to serving his community. He serves as a Director with Peel Crime Stoppers, is an Ambassador for the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation, and has been recognized for his contributions to public service and volunteerism, including receiving the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal and numerous leadership and community service awards.

Luigi's philosophy is simple: technical competence may earn a leader authority, but character, integrity, and compassion are what inspire people to follow. Through every presentation, consultation, and leadership engagement, his mission is to help build leaders who strengthen their organizations, elevate their profession, and leave a lasting legacy of service.
